Abby & Zoey

Today we are headed back to the pediatrician's office... so while we are busy having "fun" with that, I thought I would share a new shop we just found and currently love!!

Shop owner Emily is a twin mama with the cutest little ladies, who have inspired her to open up the sweetest little shop selling bibs and car seat covers!

ETSY~~FACEBOOK~~INSTAGRAM

She often offers great giveaways and deals on her instagram  @abbyandzoey

Her fabric choices are adorable and you cant beat her prices!! Oh and did I mention she is Canadian?! This of course is a huge selling feature for me!

I couldn't have found this shop at a better time as teething appears to be back in full swing! The drool is dripping and my happy baby is hit and miss!! But luckily we were able to capture a few shots of Noah modeling the latest bandana bibs!

Emily sent us 3 bibs to try out, which you can get for just $5.50 each!!

The back is the softest minky fabric and we found they really do absorb a lot! The snaps are great and he isn't able to just pull them off, which is nice!!

Have I mentioned how hard it is to photograph this little man lately?? He is full of personality!

But sometimes he takes his job super seriously! Check out these lips haha!

It was really hard to choose from her fabrics because she had so many to offer that I loved! Look at all the boy options!

And of course girl ones that are too cute!

She offers great bundle prices on the bibs that you cannot beat the price of 3/$15, 5/$25 and 7/$33!!!

Needless to say if you have a drooly baby, I highly recommend this shop! They are excellent quality, wash up nicely and well made! I have shared the shop link again just below!

Thank you Emily!!

21 Day Fix Progress

It's been a while since I have updated how we are doing with the 21 day fix!! We are still loving the program! Seriously Autumn is no joke with these intense work outs, but it keeps us coming back each day. This quote is pretty much my mindset these days:

Last time we checked in was after round one, Mike has lost 9 pounds and I had lost 6! Mike also lost 10.75 overall inches and I lost 5.25. Men lose weight soo much easier than women - so not fair haha! It's been approximately two months since the last update and we lost weight inbetween, however we did have some time off in between with vacation and what not.

So where are we at now? Mike has lost 20 pounds now but has not measured himself recently and here are my stats:

The weight is coming off slowly and steadily, which is the way it is supposed to. I have a total of 3 pounds to go to get to my initial goal which is my pre-pregnancy weight. My pants from pre-pregnancy are fitting well now which is always a nice surprise!

I also finally bought a new pair of running shoes so I could stop doing the work outs bare foot! I went with my first pair of nikes. I'm usually an Adidas girl, but I love how light these shoes are!

They are the Nike Lunar Hyper Workout Shoe XT. Love them so far!!

We are still enjoying the work outs and we will be upping our weights soon! Infact today I am going to pick up a set of 15 pound weights I found someone selling used!

We are also considering subscribing to the beach body on demand to change things up a bit, but we aren't quite there yet. It is getting harder to get our work outs in together lately with Mike's hours and we have been skipping the odd work out too but doing walking instead. I'm hoping to start doing mine outside soon now that the weather is nicer!

The biggest thing for us is portion controlling, and water intake we find. We usually skip the yoga and Pilates, as we just really don't enjoy either one! I have never been a yoga fan, and I am far from flexible, but I am getting better with stretching.

So we are approximately 3-4 months in and still going strong!! Seeing the results is the best reward and it makes it all worth it!! If you are thinking about getting started, I highly recommend this program!!

Weekend Review

Are we sure this past weekend was actually a weekend?? Our weekend was soo busy with very little down time. Not to mention we are still in recovery mode with M's new work schedule, which now includes earlier mornings and weekends.... So we are all adjusting and trying to find a schedule that works best for us and allows M to see Noah with the earlier morning hours and later evenings.

So Friday night was pretty boring. Which clearly we needed. I'm pretty sure I was in bed by 10 pm!

Saturday morning M was off to work, so I got up, got ready for the day, got Noah dressed and took him over to the farm for a few hours while I ran into town to hit up a mom-to-mom sale and the market!  The mom-to-mom sale was busy, but was mostly girl stuff, but I did find a Gap jean jacket, shoes a few sizes up and a skip hop plate I had been eyeing since Lindsey posted Avery's! I ended up spending a total of $15 for all 3 items!

I headed to the market next and hit up the butcher shop for some fresh meat to fill the freezer worth! And of course came home with these fresh flowers too!!

And I had just about forgot about picking up a pair of lulu lemon pants a lady was selling for $10!!
Steal!! I was nervous about the new size, but they fit. I haven't decided though if I will hem them up
into capris or leave them full length as they are just long enough.

I headed back to the farm to pick up Noah, who was in need of a nap, so home we went and he went right down. When he woke up though he was not the happiest camper! We are pretty sure he is working on his molars or something. His fingers are constantly in his mouth and towards the back, so he ends up gagging himself, he is drooling like crazy and irritable. However I don't see or feel anything.

He actually snuggled on the couch for a bit and played his game (Ocean) on the iPad! He loves that game!!

He cheered up a bit more after his second nap and medicine, which I ended up getting a mini nap in too! M came home shortly after and Noah was pretty happy about that too!

We did some more yard work which cleaning the patio And I power washed the decks. They actually cleaned up really well! Noah enjoyed some fresh air while watching us work!

Saturday evening after dinner we went for a nice long walk with our little fam jam and then M put Noah to bed!

I decided to watch the movie Cake with Jennifer Anniston. It was alright.

When I finished watching the movie, I looked over and saw these two snuggled right up:

Sunday morning was another early morning. M had to be at the firehall for 6 AM to set up for the breakfast and Noah woke up at 6:30. I left him up in his bed until 7, but it was still super early. Luckily he was in good spirits!

Funny story... Noah was climbing the stairs so I told him to be careful, he looked back at me and said "yayayaya". The attitude has begun and I couldn't help but to laugh at his response.

We headed to have breakfast for 8:30 and Mikes parents met us there and then took Noah home with them for a nap and play. He also ended up having lunch there too! I stayed at the breakfast and helped out.

When we came home, Noah played for a bit until M got home from his ball meeting and then it was  nap time! I ended up napping for an hour and forty-five minutes and Noah slept for almost 3 hours! M finished power washing the deck.

We decided to make hashbrown casserole for dinner and then make an extra one for M&J, but it was a big fail when M didn't add anything but sourceam and cheese. It's fine for us! So we won't be giving that out, but we did get a raspberry pie made for them!

After dinner we let Noah play downstairs for a bit for a change and next thing we knew it was after 8 PM and he was still playing happily! But we knew we had to get him in the tub and ready for bed! He was in bed by 9!!

This morning he was awake by 6:30 again! I didn't sleep well last night and M's alarm woke me up too, so it might just be a long day!!

Thursday's Thoughts

I am going to pretend that I did not wake up to snow this morning...  I may have opened the bedroom drapes and then closed them. If I can't see it.... It's not there right?!?! Luckily it's not supposed to stick around!

Up next... The last cupcake... M actually thought he could take the last cupcake in his lunch today! My breakfast... Well as it turns out he did pack it up and took it with him, but he is under strict instruction not to eat it and to bring it home to its owner! He clearly forgot that the last one rule - it's always mine haha.

This little man was quite the helper this morning:

We vacuum every morning - a perk to have a zoo within your house?!? No? Pet hair is no joke these days as the weather is getting warmer! Today I remembered that Noah had his own vacuum, so instead of trying to push mine with me, he could use his own! It actually sucks too - not a lot, but it also makes noise! He was soo proud! I videotaped him too, which I might post on Instagram later!

While gushing about my kid, how cute is his outdoor apparel from yesterday?!?

When did my baby grown into a little boy?!?! I know I keep saying that! It's just crazy to me!

On the menu for tonight... Homemade mac and cheese! We actually meal planned this week. Granted we were supposed to have homemade pizzas, but I am going to do my grocery run tomorrow, and we didn't have naan bread for the crust, which is a big component for pizza, so we swapped tonight and tomorrow's meal!

I got another order done for my sister, I am actually getting a little faster at it, but I will say it is very time consuming. I did get a basket of laundry folded last night in addition to completing the order, although I forgot how big Noah's load was after every washing the 18 month stuff! Little man is getting taller and taller!

Oh one more thing to share... We are loving the Munchkin 360 Miracle cups. They do not leak, unless Noah throws it, some will splash out, but they seal soo good and it is more like drinking from a normal cup, which will be an easier transition later on! So we bought a few and will call these Noah's favorite cup!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Latest Loves

Up early again today... I will get used to this right?

So did everyone hear the news about Full House making a come back on Netflix? I'm just a little bit excited about this prospect. I know it won't be the same, but the fact that I grew up watching this show and a potential come back with the same characters... Makes me happy!!

Yesterday we had a very impromtu girls lunch with the kiddos. We all gave ourselves 30 minutes to get dressed and throw together something to eat for everyone and suprisingly we did well. I ended up doing cheese and crackers and quickly made some cupcakes since my cookie dough was too frozen! I ended up have extra batter left, so you bet I used the muffin top tin and made cupcake tops! Soo good!!!

Our visit was super fun too, there is just something about itty bitty babies!! Soo cute!! Noah was a ladies man hanging with the little ladies!

I love the little mind of Noah. I have no idea what he is thinking sometimes and that is often the best part because in his mind he has it all figured out! Yesterday the little bum was much to quiet, which ALWAYS means the best kind of fun is happening doing something he shouldn't be. He found the diaper bag and decided to pull out ALL the wipes in the container!!

Also I wants to touch on the fact that it is Natiional Infertility Awareness Week! This is a week I wish there wasn't a need for, but because 1 in 8 couples suffer with infertility, it is an amazing network of support. We chose to suffer in silence for 4 long years until we ended up with our little miracle, but along the way I met a lot of amazingly strong women to help me through. Infertility is no joke, it is probably the hardest thing we have ever had to deal with.

So if you ever need support, have questions, or just want to talk, drop me an email. You are not alone!

I have started watching The Farris Jimmy Show on youtube.

I am thinking I want to try baking these oatmeal smore cookies! Yum!

Oatmeal Cookie S'mores Bars

I did end up buying this fabric for my outdoor pallet project, even though its not made yet! I really didnt want to miss out on the fabric, so we calculated out how much we thought we needed and then bought a little extra!

I am loving Noahs Summer wardobe:

How yummny does this drink sound:
Moscato Pink Lemonade: frozen concentrate pink lemonade (made per directions), 1 bottle pink moscato, and as much strawberry vodka as you want!

Moscato Pink Lemonade: frozen concentrate pink lemonade (made per directions), 1 bottle pink moscato, and as much strawberry vodka as you want!

Delish!!!

in the blink of an eye... wish I could make certain people in my life wake up and realize whats important in life

And in light of infertility awareness week:

I'm going to beat this!

This would make great coasters.

Noah's Current Favorites (13 -14 months)

Mr. Man is all about that books! A few of HIS current favorites are:

These are the daytime ones that he reads to himself during the day. At bedtime he loves:

- Goodnight Canada
- Wynken Blyken and Nod
- The Crown on My Head
- On The Night You Were Born
- Clifford Goes To Bed

Okay who are we kidding I could list a million books haha.

He also loves playing in his little tikes play house or the ball pit!! As I'm sure you have seen in many of my photos! These things keep him entertained for longer periods of time! He will play with the door, windows and we can't forget the mailbox. He check it every morning to see what we hid inside of it for him! He likes to climb in and out of the slide!

Noah was loving little people. We have Noah's Ark, as well as the barn, so this has kind of taken away from the mega blocks figurines we bought him, but I have a feeling he will like them again when he figures out how to play with blocks!

He has also taken to vehicles... Dinky cars, dump trucks, tractors, fire trucks... Anything with wheels! He will also throw in some car noises for your enjoyment! I think it is bred into boys haha.

Balls are a big hit too! He likes to kick them and has just recently started to throw them, but they don't quite go where he intends for them to!

There are days where Noah gets bored playing with the same toys and luckily we have another toy station set up in the basement, so we can easily switch it up for a bit!

I can't say it enough - we are soo looking forward to being able to play outside! I think that is where we will spend most of our days with the pool, sand and water table and outdoor play set, throw in some walks to the park and play dates - it should be a good time!

Noah's favorite foods right now are blueberries, grapes, squash, sweet potato, green beans and raspberries! He enjoys chicken or steak, granted we don't eat a lot of pork, but I'm sure he would eat it too! We are soo lucky that he isn't picky at all at this point, rumour has it that will change as the years go by.

{Weekend Rewind}

Monday is back again already!!!

Our weekend was jam packed with fun, great weather and yard work!

Friday night was pretty boring, but just what we needed after a long week! I'm pretty sure I went to bed at 10:30! I worked on beading for my sister all night!

Saturday morning I was up bright and early and headed off to London and ended up visiting my nephew who is in the hospital. They are trying to get to the bottom of his severe head banging which is leading go injuries. B has head banged since he was a baby and now that he is 3 the doctors are just seeing it as a problem now and are willing to look at it, but only because my sister videotaped it to show them and pushed for them to see it as a bigger problem that it is. So he is finally getting looked at despite being any further ahead with a diagnosis!

When I got home I got the text that J finally had her baby!! A sweet baby girl named Chloe Marie 8lbs 2oz. We couldn't be happier for them all!!

We spent the afternoon doing yard work!! It feels soo good to get things cleaned up around here
because winter came soo quickly after our Reno we didn't get that time to clean up! This was Noah's version if yard work on Saturday:

We came in around 4 to get cleaned up and packed Noah up for his first sleep over at the farm!

We dropped off Noah and headed out for date night, with a quick stop at the hospital to see Miss Chloe:

She is just the sweetest little thing!!!

We headed to J&S's and then headed to London and hit up Beertown for dinner! We over 300 different beers to choose from, we had a few drinks and a great meal! Good conversation went a long way because we were there for 3 hours!! So we didn't bother with rock climbing and just went back to their place for drinks. We were home by 11:30!

Noah sure had fun at his sleepover! It helped us getting photos and updates of his evening:

Quad ride with Grandpa and a little hide and seek:

The house was pretty quiet and we didn't love waking up without him there, but we all survived! We headed to the farm at 8:30 for breakfast and were greeted with big smiles and hugs!! He had a great night and slept all night, which isn't a surprise since he does that at home!

Grandma and Grandpa had fun too!!

M had to do some office work while we were there, so Noah helped out:

Yes the calander says 2004.... Not sure why haha.

We headed home with a tired little boy who went right down for a nap! I finished the red necklace order, washed the floors and got going on some laundry while M went back outside. The weather was windy and cooler in Sunday, but still nice enough to hang laundry and get work done! When Noah woke up from his nap he enjoyed helping Mommy pick up nails with the magnet:

The whole yard was raked, nails were picked up, waste was cleaned up and it was great to see green in my garden after all the leaves were cleaned up! We had ribs for dinner and counted down the time till bed time because Noah was certainly tired! He also gave himself a shiner right before bed, which made the whole process long and drawn out!

That was our weekend all wrapped up!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
